Resistors and sensors
These two categories of spare part have been gathered together with only one description because, in the Hot-melt field, they’re applied together.

The resistor heats the part up, and the sensor, by measuring the temperature, gives the required datato the control electronics to stabilize it.
Resistors differentiate from each other by their size(lenght and diameter) and their power. To guarantee that the heating resistor has a long lifespan, its diameter must be adapted with the loacation where it will be placed in: the more the diameters are similar, the better the heat will be treansferred to the part that needs to be heated, preventing the resistor from overheating.
EMMECI ELETTRONICA, in addiction to the heating resistor, gives a well-suited amount of thermal paste, which is needed to improve the heat tranfer. This thermal paste needs to be evenly spread along the external surface of the resistor to remove to remove the air gap which limit the heat tranfer.
There are different types of sensor, which are different in diameter and for the type of signal given when the temperature changes. It’s extremely important to use the right sensor, since a different type would cause wrong measurements and creating a overheating risk for the resistor.
