The LD485PP interface has been designed to solve problems legated to the interfacing between sources equipped with line-driver outputs (ex. encoders, electric drives, etc.) and systems equipped with PNP or NPN inputs.
The line-driver signals often have insufficient power to correctly control systems (PLC, industrial PCs, etc.) equipped with 0-24Vdc inputs. LD485PP not only transforms the differential signal, typical of the line-driver selection, in one referred to the negative of the power, but is also able to increase the power of the pulses over the normal one (24Vdc), making the 2 segnals compatible.
The LD485PP interface controls one single line-driver channel, for jobs having more line-driver channels it’s needed to have one interface per channel. In the diagram down below, there is the wiring diagram of the LD485PP interface:
