The important aspects of Compact-plus are many:

• The high quantity of manageable adhesive lines / pauses: 8 lines and 8 pauses;
• The high number of formats: 16 of which can be assigned with a 8 digit name, each one allows a quick identification of the systems;
• The possibility to manage up to a maximum of 4 channels (guns or other actuators) completely independently;
• The possibility to use an independent supply-start sensor for every gun;
• High versatility for sensor usage (both PNP and NPN type sensors can be used);
• Complete diagnostics to indicate the state of the system (off, on, error etc.) and easy identification of the current anomaly through an error code directly shown on the display;
• A complete testing procedure which allows you to check the gun’s functioning and the supply control sensors when the line is stopped;
• Help in line which makes its use easier: pressing a specific button, you can see the instructions related to the shown menu;
• The possiblity to use a 1 to 5 digits code (password) to lock in the programmation of the functioning parameters and the formats;
• Timer for starting/stopping the high performance applicator:
  • For every day of the week 2 time bands can be independently programmed by the user;
  • A specific setting for non-working days is available, which allows you to set early (with a maximum anticipation of 24 days), the presence of non-working days (in a non-working day, the applicator stays off regardless of the time bands set)
• Interfaceability towards other systems: through 2 purpose-made outputs it’s possible to manage the alarm conditions and on/off timer settings;

The COMPACT-PLUS programmer is available in 2 models, which can be applied on many different types of packaging lines:

• COMPACT-PLUS/T: is a programmer in which the duration of the adhesive lines and the pauses is expressed in milliseconds. So this system can be used only on lines with constant speed, because any variations in the speed will affect the length of the adhesive lines and the pauses.

• COMPACT-PLUS/E: is a programmer in which the duration of the adhesive lines and the pauses is expressed in millimeters. So this system can be used on any type of system, because there is an encoder which synchronizes the duration of the adhesive lines and the pauses together with the advancement of the line. There also is a sophisticated auto-setting system of the encoder and the possibility to compensate the delays caused by the guns, which makes the line achieve extremely high precision even on lines subjected to many speed variations.
