HV2012

Over-boost driver board with 2 channels

The HV2012 driver significantly reduces the response time (activation) of the electromagnetic or electropneumatic actuator connected to it, which work at 24Vdc, allowing an improvement in working speed. The reduction of activation time is obtained through an instantaneous overvoltage, which magnetizes the actuator in less time compared to the normal voltage. Using an instantaneous overvoltage makes the actuator’s performance  increase without causing it to overheat or get damaged. The versatility of the HV2012 driver allows you to solve many problems related to the usage of actuators like solenoid valves, electric brakes, solenoids etc.

Compared to other systems, the HV2012 board offers many advantages:

Easy to install: both on new and already existent systems:

  • The HV2012 board gets inserted alongside the cables that connect the actuator of the control system (PLC, cam-controller etc.) without the need of any precautions.
  • For it to work, It only needs the 24Vdc power supply, thanks to its internal converter which generates the overvoltage needed.
  • Interfaceability both with control systems in PNP and NPN logic.

Actuator safety: The overvoltage pulse lasts only a few milliseconds, for this reason the controlled coils won’t overheat, this lowers the probability of getting damaged, which is usual in systems where the actuators are powered with higher voltages than normal.
