HV2012 - HV2012

The HV2012 driver board allows to significantly reduce the response time (activation) of electromagnetic or electro-pneumatic actuators connected to it, operating at 24V, allowing an increase of the working speed. The reduction of the activation time is obtained by the sending of an instantaneous overvoltage, which makes it possible to magnetize the actuator in a shorter time than would be obtainable at the rated voltage. The use of an instantaneous overvoltage allows to increase the performance of the actuator without causing overheating or damage. The versatility of the HV2012 driver allows to solve many problems related to the intervention speed of actuators such as solenoid valves, electric brakes, solenoids, etc.
The HV2012 driver integrates all the features already present in the predecessor HVEVSSR, but differs in its much smaller size. All applications that require the high performance of HVEVSSR drivers are then transferred to HV2012 with no special requirements.

Compared to other systems, the HV2012 card offers many advantages:

Ease of installation on both new installations and for existing ones:

  • The HV2012 card is inserted along the cables that connect the actuator to the control system (PLC, cam-controller etc.) Without requiring special precautions.
  • For its operation it needs only supply voltage to 24VDC, thanks to the internal converter that generates the excitation voltage.
  • Interfacing with both control systems in PNP logic in logic NPN.

Preservation of the actuators: the overvoltage pulse has a duration of a few msec, so you avoid the overheating of the controlled coils, with the possibility of damage, typical of systems in which the actuators are powered at voltages higher than the nominal one.

What are the products drivers from Emmeci Electronics?

The drivers are electronic cards specially designed to activate a host of devices normally used in industrial automation, such as solenoid valves, electromagnets, brake-clutch assemblies, etc.
