The LD485PP interface is designed to solve the problems of interfacing sources with line-driver outputs (e.g. encoders, drives, etc.) and systems with PNP or NPN inputs.

Line-driver signals often have insufficient amplitudes to correctly control systems (PLCs, industrial PCs, etc.) equipped with 0-24Vdc inputs. LD485PP allows not only to transform the differential signal, typical of the line-driver, into one referring to the negative power supply, but it is also able to bring its amplitude to values close to the power supply one (24Vdc).

The LD485PP interface handles a single line-driver channel; applications with several line-driver channels require an interface for each channel.
