What happens if I use the hot-melt in hot environments? And if I use it in cold environments?

In warm environments the gluing system generally gives no problems (it being understood that must be respected parameters provided by system manufacturers and adhesive used). However, there may be problems in the bonded, since at high temperatures the adhesive takes longer to set.
In case of cold environments, problems may arise in the adhesive dispensing guns, who are unable to maintain the set temperature and therefore require adequate insulation. Problems may arise also on the glued pieces, given that in cold environments the adhesive cools rapidly and may already be congealed at the time of mating of the surfaces to be bonded.

What should I do if I wish to make a hot melt system for an extended time?

If the plant bonding remains in the same environment in which no operation except the one to turn it off, given that at room temperature the hot glue has of deterioration times is normally used (sheltered from rain or other polluting elements) it is not necessary extremely long.

During periods of inactivity of the production lines can not leave the set on a hot glue?

It strongly discouraged, because the hot-melt adhesives must be heated only in use prediction. The hot glue is dangerous? What precautions should I follow to use it?

The hot melt, during use, is a high-temperature liquid (greater than 100 ° C) and high pressure. All precautions that should be taken to use are those normally used in hydraulic systems at high temperature. Because in some applications it is used a double bonding hot glue + cold glue?

The 2 types of bonding are complementary, in fact the hot-melt adhesive has a short setting time but the bonding may yield when subjected to medium / high temperatures, while the cold glue, while using medium / long setting times, has an irreversible bonding.
In this way the hot glue will ensure bonding the short term even in fast applications, waiting for the cold glue to provide the definitive and irreversible.

The cold bonding is permanent?

After evaporation of the aqueous part of the adhesive bonding is permanent and irreversible. In critical applications, it is possible to combine a cold bonding with glue to one with hot glue. (See related FAQ).

What is cold glue?

The cold glue, also called cold glue, is a type of liquid adhesive, generally opaque white color, which is formed by an adhesive part dissolved in water. It can be used for bonding almost all the materials (paper, cardboard, certain types of plastics, wood and derivatives, metals, for building material, etc.) With the exception of those non-stick (eg. PTFE / Teflon and siliconised surfaces) and dirty or greasy surfaces. In my works I have several lines with hot melt systems. If you want to automate the loading of tanks should I expect a charger for each plant?

Probably not, if the lines all use the same hot-melt adhesive. Each Easy-charge charger can manage up to a maximum of 4 lines simultaneously. The management limit of more lines through a single Easy-charge is given by the maximum distance of the tanks from the same hot-melt charger, which can not exceed 20-25m (40m with the appropriate repeater group) and the height difference to be overcome to step over any transit points of lift trucks or cargo (max. 6m).
It is not necessary that the hot-melt systems are all of the same brand or model, given that each of Easy-charge channel can be adapted to a different type of applicator.

I would use a multi-channel Easy-Charge charger to fill the tanks of the nearest lines, but I have to pass a corridor used by lift trucks or forklifts. What can I do?

Easy-Charge allows to overcome differences in height of 6 meters, height more than enough to override the transit corridors of forklifts. This difference, combined with the maximum length of the tubes (20-25m and 40m in the standard version with Easy-rpt repeater group) allows to solve many problems of installation on multiple lines.

In Easy-Charge charger can use any type of hot-melt adhesive?

Easy-Charge makes it possible to automate the loading of numerous types of hot-melt adhesives (EVA based, metallocene, polyamide, waxes, etc.) That comply with the maximum size of the granules to be transported (12x12mm for the standard version and 20x20mm for that ducts diam. 50mm). It is not possible to make adhesives boots in different formats from granules and tablets (pats, bags, etc.) or with a high tendency to form a compact mass.
